WHO WE ARE
The Stuyvesant Environmental Club (SEC), founded in 2012, is a community of students who work to promote positive environmental action within the Stuyvesant community and beyond. We organize and participate in a variety of activities in order to learn about the environment, raise awareness, and take action in our own lives, in our school, and in the greater NYC community. Such activities include: upcycling projects, the Billion Oyster Project, our rooftop garden, our cafeteria recycling program, park cleanups, and more!
